Take a deep dive into the last 150 years of our collective Jewish history, as presented on the silver screen. Through classic films, archive footage, and documentaries, participants will learn to activate their critical thinking while revisiting key events in the modern history of the Jewish people. This brief course will cover WWI and WWII, the Holocaust, the birth of Zionism, founding the Yishuv in Eretz Israel, and Israel’s declaration of independence. This class will be held in English.
