Itay Dadon
Las Vegas Regional Council Member
Itay was born in 1986 in Los Angeles, California, where he lived until the age of 10. In 1996, the Dadon family returned to Israel, where Itay’s love for volunteering began to develop. Itay began as a student in the “Bnei Hamoshavim” youth movement, where he was then molded into a counselor and lead several teams
Itay enlisted to the IDF in 2001 went through basic, advance, and tank commanding training in the 7th armored corps division. Serving as a commander over the following two years, he was stationed on all 4 of Israel’s boarders and several Gaza operations. He also received a recognition award for his battle operations and superior combat procedures during the Second Lebanon War, which ensured his whole unit made it back home to their families.
The day he was released from the IDF, Itay boarded a flight back to the United States to help his brother, Tom with a developing retail business in Minnesota. In December, 2007, they decided to move to Las Vegas, and shortly after their family reunited. A few years later, his best friend from high school came for a spontaneous post-military trip. Natali and Itay fell in love, and are now married with two lovely kids, Mai and Eilay.
Over the past 10 years, the Dadons developed successful moving companies in Las Vegas, Seattle and Arizona. They also own several properties and take pleasure in investing in the local real estate market. On his free time, Itay enjoys wake-boarding, snowboarding, target shooting, swimming, and traveling.
