Prior to joining the IAC, Dima served as the Executive Director of the Israel Scholarship Education Foundation.
Earlier in his career, he managed relationships with major donors and foundations for the Jewish Agency for Israel, overseeing partnerships with more than 20 Jewish Federations
across the United States. With over two decades of experience working with Jewish communities worldwide, Dima brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role as an ambassador and advocate for Israel.
Following his service in the Israel Defense Forces, Dima became a Jewish Agency emissary for informal Jewish education in Moscow, Russia. Upon returning to Israel,
he was appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as spokesman and press secretary for the Likud Party. Notably, as the first non-native Hebrew speaker to hold this position, Dima shattered barriers for new immigrants to Israel.
Dima holds an M.B.A. in Public Policy Leadership from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel, and a Master’s degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University.
He lives in Montclair, NJ, with his wife, Marianna, a family physician, and their two daughters, Batsheva and Aviva.
