Building Community. Strengthening Identity. Shaping the Future.
For years, the San Diego community has demonstrated the power of coming together around shared values, identity, and purpose. What continues to grow here is more than a community – it is a vibrant network of families, leaders, students, and changemakers committed to connection, leadership, and impact.
Through cultural programs, educational initiatives, leadership development, and community engagement, IAC San Diego strengthens Jewish and Israeli-American identity, deepens connections, and empowers the next generation.
We are honored to gather at the Annual IAC San Diego Gala, an evening celebrating the people, partnerships, and leaders whose vision and dedication continue to strengthen our community and help shape a vibrant Jewish future.
Honoring Community Leadership
This year, we are proud to honor Talia & Yarin Kastiel-Katz and Eveline & Morris Drai for their extraordinary contributions and enduring commitment to strengthening our community and Jewish life worldwide.
Talia and Yarin Kastiel-Katz are dedicated to building Jewish families and strengthening Jewish continuity through their Jewish egg donation agency and the only Kosher Egg Bank of its kind in the world, creating meaningful pathways for families and contributing to the future of Jewish life and identity. Talia has been a dedicated IAC Council member for the past three years, actively strengthening and advancing the San Diego community through leadership, philanthropy, partnership, and ongoing commitment.
Evelyn and Morris Drai are recognized for their longstanding generosity and unwavering dedication to the Jewish community. Morris Drai, founder of the Sephardic synagogue in San Diego, has consistently stepped forward to support community causes whenever needed, leaving a lasting impact through leadership, philanthropy, and service.
Join us for an evening where community, leadership, and responsibility come together – as we celebrate those who help shape the future of Jewish and Israeli-American life in San Diego with vision, generosity, and heart.
