In today’s school environment, antisemitism and anti-Zionism can affect students’ safety, identity, confidence, and sense of belonging. Parents play a vital role in recognizing concerns, supporting their children, advocating for their rights, and helping schools respond effectively.
This session will feature Lilach Levaton, IAC Senior Manager of School Systems, and Jenna Statfeld Harris, Senior Counsel at StandWithUs Saidoff Law, combining practical school-system experience with legal expertise.
Parents will learn how to navigate school procedures, communicate with educators and administrators, recognize warning signs, document and report incidents, and respond confidently. The session will also offer strategies for fostering positive, inclusive engagement with Jewish and Israeli culture and perspectives in schools.
Participants will receive practical resources, educational materials, and ongoing guidance through the IAC Shield Support Center.
