Our first meeting laid the groundwork—now it’s time to take the next step. On July 20, we are coming together for our second meeting of the
summer to launch a vital initiative aimed at protecting our way of life.
The strategy is simple: First, we get educated. Then, we participate.
Local city council meetings may not be glamorous, but they are where the decisions that impact our daily lives are made.
With most councils meeting just twice a month, having a consistent, engaged presence in the room is everything. We need to be there to ensure local
government stays focused on serving local residents.
Our Unique Responsibility
As Americans in the IAC, we have a critical role to play. Many of our Israeli brothers and sisters may not yet feel comfortable speaking up at local
public forums. That is where our community relies on us. It is up to us to show up, represent our shared values, and lead the way.
To keep our momentum going, this meeting will establish our monthly Zoom rhythm where we can regularly regroup, share local updates,
compare notes, and coordinate our next steps.
