Attending city council meetings might not be glamorous, but most councils meet just twice a month—and we need engaged community members in the room ensuring local government stays focused on serving local residents.
As Americans in the IAC, we have a unique responsibility. Many of our Israeli brothers and sisters may not feel comfortable speaking at local meetings yet. That is where we come in. It’s up to us to show up, represent, and lead the way.
Moving forward, we will regroup monthly via Zoom to share updates, compare notes, and coordinate our efforts.
