The war that was unleashed on October 7 when Hamas invaded Israel, and continues to this day, has compelled Israeli-American communities and American Jews as a whole to focus on building community resilience.
This resilience is essential for maintaining the strength of our community and transforming hardship into growth.
Jewish memory serves as a powerful tool for building this resilience.
Unlike history, memory is how we experience past community events in the present moment.
In this session, we will explore the significance of Jewish memory and how it can be used as a tool for growth, examining
ways to connect our personal and family stories to our collective Jewish narrative.
We’ll engage with these concepts through readings from the Haggadah as we prepare for Passover, creating meaningful bridges
between our individual experiences and our shared tradition.
