A hackathon is a collaborative event where participants come together to solve problems or explore new opportunities.
This year, we are partnering with DENVER WATER and MEKOROT to host a hackathon for teens focused on developing innovative solutions for water conservation.
Israel and Colorado share similar challenges when it comes to water resources, making this collaboration especially meaningful.
During the hackathon, participants will hear from experts who will discuss Colorado’s water challenges and the technological solutions developed by Israeli companies.
Following these talks, the teens will be given a challenge and will work in small teams to develop their own solutions, guided by mentors from the community.
Our mentors, experienced professionals from various fields, are committed to helping teens discover their own solutions rather than providing them.
At the end of the event, parents are invited to attend the presentations, where teams will showcase their solutions to a panel of judges.
The winning team will have the opportunity to continue developing their ideas in the Eitanim program throughout the year.
