The “Gvanim” leadership program invites you to a new lecture from our lecture club series – the power of words.
The lecture will deal with the unique power of words, the way in which words shape
our perception of reality, and the relationship between language and thinking.
Being aware of the choice of words can change our mindset and even the way we speak to our children.
The lecture will be accompanied by examples from both the world of research and the real world, and it will focus on the Hebrew language.
Dr. Osnat Argaman is the head of the Hebrew Language Department at the Gordon College of Education,
Former Dean of Graduate Studies in Education, and a senior lecturer focusing on the psychology of language.
She is now a visiting scholar in the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at UT.
Osnat is an enthusiastic community member and an active player in local sports teams.
*This event will be in HEBREW*
