Community Information Session: Preparing for the 2026 Georgia Elections
Ahead of the November 2026 general election in Georgia, we will host an informational session for the Israeli and Jewish community in the Atlanta area.
During the session, we will provide a broad overview of the upcoming elections: which positions are up for election, which institutions and government bodies make decisions that impact our lives, and what these elections mean for us as a community living in Georgia.
We will discuss the elections for U.S. Senate, Governor, and the House of Representatives, explain how the electoral system works, and review the different ways to vote, including early voting and absentee voting. We will also explain how to check your voter registration, find your polling location, and understand what will appear on your ballot.
The session will be informative, accessible, and practical, providing participants with the knowledge and tools they need to better understand the electoral system, the decision-making process, and how we can influence decisions made in Washington, D.C. and Georgia.
Our goal is for every participant to leave with a better understanding of the system and practical tools that will help them become more informed, engaged, and empowered members of our community.
