Jonathan Elkhoury is an Israeli- Lebanese, LGBTQ+ rights activist, public diplomacy adviser and commentator on Israeli affairs.
He was born in Lebanon to a family affiliated with the South Lebanese Army, supported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
In the year 2001, when he was 9 years old, he moved as a refugee to Israel with his family following his father that
fled to Israel during the IDF’s withdrawal from south Lebanon in May 2000.
He speaks and gives talks about the situation of minorities in Israel, Lebanese-Israeli affairs and the ongoing
situation in historic and current prospective.
Mr. Elkhoury presents a window into the intricate geopolitical dynamics of the Middle East.
