Join us for Light Shines Through the Cracks: An Evening with Dr. Lia Naor on Sunday, November 8 at 7:00 PM, for an inspiring conversation about trauma, resilience, community, and the extraordinary power of people to come together in times of crisis.
In the immediate aftermath of October 7, Dr. Lia Naor founded Healing Space at Ronit Farm for survivors of the Nova Festival, creating an innovative community- and nature-based response to trauma.
During the first months of the war, more than 6,000 survivors and family members received support through Healing Space. The model was later adopted by Israel’s Ministry of Health and became an inspiration for resilience farms and healing spaces in Israel and beyond.
During this special evening, Dr. Naor will share how Healing Space was created in the midst of crisis, what made its approach unique, and what it can teach us about resilience, belonging, human connection, and the future of trauma care.
Dr. Naor is visiting Colorado this November to receive the Outstanding Practitioner Award from the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) in recognition of her work with survivors of the October 7 attacks.
We’re grateful to partner with Chabad Jewish Center of South Metro Denver and appreciate their support in helping make this evening happen.
This is a story of healing, hope, and what becomes possible when a community chooses to create, connect, and move forward together.
