Please join us as we gather to commemorate October 7 victims and to bear witness to Liron Hacohen, who survived
the massacre of Kfar Aza. Liron Hacohen is a 31-year-old social worker who lived with her husband in Kibbutz Kfar Aza.
She grew up in Nahla and her husband was born and raised in Kfar Aza.
Liron is a therapist a part of the psychology center at Sha’ar HaNegev’s regional council.
In her free time, she loves painting, writing, and traveling.
On October 7th she hid with her husband in the shelter (which was their bedroom) while terrorists surrounded their community.
For many hours, they listened to gun shots and terrorists burning down their neighbors’ homes.
Her brother-in-law was murdered.
Liron is interested in sharing her story in order to raise awareness of the tragedies that took place on that day,
in the memory of the victims and for the hostages that have yet to return home.
** Photo ID is required for entry
The costs of the ticket will be donated to “Faces of October 7” that brings survivors from Israel to share their stories across campuses and communities in the U.S.A.
