StandWithUs Holocaust Education Center and the Israeli-American Council present:
Rise! A Musical Performance on Jewish Resilience
In this performance, musician and playwright Joshua Daniel Hershfield and his LA cast will present
scenes from Rise! The Musical – focused on women’s resistance during the Holocaust.
The performance will conclude with a discussion with the playwright, tying-in the main themes of the musical with his experiences
as a volunteer paramedic in Israel post October 7th.
LA-based Israeli photographer, Melanit Gal, will present her work with Nova Festival survivors who visited LA for art therapy sessions.
