Israel American Council Cleveland and The Temple-Tifereth Israel would love to invite you to join us
for an Israeli style Shabbat dinner. Our event will bring together members of the local Israeli and Jewish
communities that will get to spend Shabbat evening together and get to enjoy a very unique shabbat experience.
We will do Kabalat Shabbat together, we will enjoy a delicious meal which we all get to contribute to,
we will enjoy some Israeli music and kids activities and most importantly we will get to spend some quality
time together and get to know new people in our community.
We all hope to the safe return of all the hostages and pray that they all will return before our event.
But if they won’t and the situation in Israel will still be so challenging – we would also use this event to raise
awareness to all the kidnapped and to all as a community – #Bringthemhomenow
• As we want to make it feel like a true “Israeli style shabbat” we ask all the participants to contribute a dish to the meal.
Please surprise us with your amazing specialties!
All the dishes needs to be kosher style (no meat and diary, no seafood and pork) but besides that everything
goes and we are sure it will be amazing to see all of the different things you will come up with.
