There are stories we hear from a distance. And there are stories that take on a whole new depth when we meet the person who lived them.
IAC, together with El Ami and Together For Them, is proud to host a special delegation of IDF soldiers who were wounded during their service, coming from Israel to Los Angeles for an intimate evening of personal stories and open conversation.
This is an opportunity to hear directly from the people behind the stories we usually see through the news. To ask the questions we don’t always have someone to ask, to meet the people behind the uniforms, and to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences behind the headlines.
Through videos, personal stories, and an open conversation, we will hear about their service, their friendships, the moments that changed their lives, the challenges that followed, and the strength they discovered along the way.
And this connection goes both ways. For us and for our children, it is an opportunity to feel closer to Israel through its people and their stories. By showing up, we also give them a place to share. We come to listen, to be there for them, to embrace them, and to show them that even across the ocean, there are people who want to hear their stories and stand beside them.
An evening that brings people together from both sides of the ocean and reminds us that even from afar, we are all part of the same story.
