“At age 13, my mother put me on a ship with my two siblings, Motke and Nina, and told me, ‘Now you are their mother and father.’
A few years later, she died in the camp.”
Neomi Shoham, a Holocaust survivor from Poland and one of the hundreds of “Children of Tehran” —a journey of bravery and survival.
Naomi’s life story will be told by her granddaughter, Efrat Morag, who lives in Austin.
On April 22nd, we will gather to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day, a time to honor and remember the Jewish victims
of the Holocaust.
We invite you to join Zikaron BaSalon, an intimate and meaningful way to observe this day—in the warmth of a home, among friends
and guests, through personal stories and deep discussions.
This event will be held in English.
The address will be provided upon registration.
Space is limited—please register in advance.
Let’s come together to preserve memory, share stories, and honor the voices of survivors.
We gratefully welcome any donations to support our ongoing community and Israel-related activities.
Your contributions enable us to continue our important work.
