Born in Haifa, Israel, in 1964. Graduated from The Reali School and served in the Israeli Navy.
Amir moved to the US in 1986 and lived in Los Angele, for 4 years. While attending college, he started working in the time share industry and very quickly became one of the top salespeople in the company, that was one of the largest ones, in the US. In 1990, he moved to NYC and started working in the company, that he now owns – Kuche+Cucina. They design, manufacture (in Europe) and distribute (nationwide), luxury kitchens. Amir is also the force behind several kitchen brands in North America, such as Pedini and DOCA kitchens.
In addition to the above, for 14 years (2011-2024), Amir served as a director consultant, in BNI – the world’s largest referral organization.
Father to Michael (22) and Jessica (21) who both graduated from Solomon Schechter. Michael is starting his master’s program in Berkley School of Music, and Jessica will be a senior at Duke. Both love their Israeli heritage, visit Israel often and are part of Chabad at their respective schools.
Amir also served as a board member of the Heroes-to-Heroes Foundation, for 3 years (2015 – 2018). The organization serves all American combat veterans, who are having challenges with PTSD s part of the program, these combat veterans visit Israel, meet Israeli combat soldiers and go through a spiritual program together. They return to the US, and many become big fans and unique ambassadors of Israel. Amir was the creator and organizer of the Showhouse for Heroes, that raised significant funds to the organization.
