Jonathan Moas was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, growing up in the overlap of many vibrant Jewish communities. His early years in Sea Gate—a unique melting pot of Jewish identities—shaped much of his childhood. He later moved to Midwood, home to the Sephardic Jewish community of his parents’ ancestry, where he had his first two sons and where he met his partner in life, Tali Fischer.
Both Jonathan and Tali were raised in homes deeply rooted in Israeli culture and the Orthodox Jewish community. They each attended Brooklyn College, and while their paths did not cross there, fate ultimately brought them together as they began families of their own. Today, they live in Livingston, New Jersey, raising their three boys Jack, Aaron, and Benji. Their family life is a tapestry of Jewish, Zionist, American, and Israeli identity, intertwined across generations.
Professionally, Jonathan is a CPA with more than 17 years of experience consulting at Big 4 accounting firms. He has advised companies ranging from start-ups to large multinational enterprises, guiding them through complex transformations in the M&A, IPO, and Divestiture space. Beyond his professional work, Jonathan served on the Young Leadership Board of the American Society for Yad Vashem for two years, reflecting his deep commitment to Jewish life, heritage, and community
