With over 40 years of experience in real estate investing and development, Sam Ventura is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and industry leader. Over the course of his career, Sam has raised more than $300 million in capital and successfully invested over $600 million in commercial real estate and land acquisitions across the Western United States.
In addition to owning and developing real estate, Sam has operated an in-house commercial real estate brokerage for more than 28 years, serving as a trusted partner to investors and developers looking to acquire land, industrial, retail, multifamily, and office properties throughout Las Vegas. Sam’s deep market insight, negotiation skills, and strong industry relationships have made him a go-to expert for clients seeking smart, profitable real estate ventures.
Sam’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1979 when he founded a cabinet manufacturing and distribution company that rapidly became California’s largest supplier of kitchen and bathroom cabinets to both consumers and distributors. In the 1980s and 1990s, he shifted focus to property development, spearheading mixed-use, commercial, and industrial projects. His foresight and ability to recognize market trends led him to pioneer in the self-storage space, where he developed and owns over 4,000 storage units across Southern Nevada—a portfolio that continues to thrive today.
Born in Israel, Sam proudly served as a paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) before moving to the United States in 1972. He began his career in construction and became a licensed general contractor by 1976. Since relocating to Las Vegas in 1986, he has played an influential role in shaping the city’s real estate landscape through his diverse investments and developments.
Beyond his business accomplishments, Sam is deeply committed to giving back to his community and preserving his cultural roots. He has served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas and the Adelson Educational Campus, and he currently serves as President of Or Bamidbar Synagogue, where he continues to lead with faith and integrity.
Sam lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Rachel. Married for over 54 years, they are the proud parents of four children—all active in the family business—and loving grandparents to nine. His legacy is one of vision, leadership, and dedication to both his family and the future of Las Vegas real estate.
