Shay Diamant was born and raised in Haifa, Israel, where he developed a profound appreciation for community and service. After completing his military service in the Israeli Defense Forces’ Nahal unit (1977–1980), Shay explored opportunities abroad, eventually moving to New York at the age of 26 and later settling in Los Angeles.

In 1990, Shay founded Hartland Electric, an electrical contracting business that has flourished and continues to thrive under the leadership of his son, Oren. His daughter, Carmel, is a dedicated physician at UCLA, and together with his wife Revital, Shay takes pride in the family they have built.

Shay’s commitment to community service spans over two decades, beginning with the JCC Maccabi program, where he has mentored Jewish teens participating in Olympic-style competitions. His dedication extends to Larger Than Life, where he has served as president for more than a decade, and Mamanet, a women’s empowerment initiative he co-founded with Galit Peled eight years ago.

As a steadfast supporter of the Israeli-American Council (IAC), Shay is passionate about fostering meaningful connections within the Israeli-American community and amplifying its impact. His volunteer work reflects a lifelong dedication to community development and a belief in the power of collective action.

Through his professional achievements and volunteer efforts, Shay continues to enrich lives, strengthen community bonds, and inspire those around him to make a meaningful difference.
