Uri Cohen was born and raised on Kibbutz Netiv HaLamed-Hey in Israel. He served in the Israel Defense Forces Combat Engineering Corps and retired with the rank of Major. Following his military service, he worked in land mine clearance and explosive ordnance disposal, specializing in transforming hazardous land into safe, usable areas for civilian use.

He later relocated to Austin, Texas, with his wife, Shani, and their two daughters, Daniela and Ariel, following Shani’s career in tech. He then transitioned into real estate development, and today the company he founded builds and manages several new residential community projects in West Texas, alongside involvement in multifamily properties. His work focuses on developing quality living environments and creating long-term value for communities.
