Zachi Bigaleizn was born and raised in Kiryat Bialik, Israel. He spent much of his time growing up working with his father in the family business of iron welding. This provided a strong base to his trade education and developed skills both in building and business management. Interestingly enough, his last name means “Clothes Iron” in German.

Zachi moved to California at the age of 25 and made it his new home. He is married to Gal and together they are proudly raising their two teen sons.

Zachi has been an active supporter of the Jewish/Israeli community in Orange County for the past 15 years. As a licensed general contractor he completed multiple projects for the local Jewish community such as remodeling in special needs community homes, work at the Jewish Federation offices and security grants for synagogues and Jewish preschools.

He also lends a hand in IAC events such as the Israel Independence Day festival, security efforts and additional preparations as needed.

This year Zachi and Gal joined the Rimon Club, choosing to contribute to the IAC even further.

Zachi cares about his local neighborhood as well and is serving as the president of the homeowner association board of directors.

He is looking forward to collaborating with the counsel members and making a difference for the Orange County Jewish-Israeli community.
