General Waiver
By enrolling my child in the IAC Young Families program, I agree to the following:

• I give permission for my child to participate in all IAC Young Families activities, whether on-site, virtual, or off-site.
• IAC Young Families staff will make every reasonable effort to keep the environment safe. Group programs involving children carry some inherent risk, and I release IAC Young Families, its staff, volunteers, and partner organizations from liability for incidents or injuries during program hours.
• I authorize IAC to use photos and videos of my child taken during program activities for internal use and promotion. This consent is a condition of enrollment. If you would not like IAC to use your child’s photo for marketing purposes please let the local IAC staff know in writing and IAC will make every effort to use photos that does not include your child or blur their face in group pictures.

Code of Conduct
IAC Young Families is built on kindness, curiosity, and mutual respect. We ask each participant to:

• Listen to and follow staff and instructors.
• Treat peers, staff, and program materials with respect.
• Join in activities with a positive, cooperative attitude.
• Respect personal space – keep hands and feet to yourself.
• Use respectful, appropriate language.

Behavior Policy and Disciplinary Actions
Young children are still learning to manage their emotions and behavior, and we support that. But behaviors like aggression, bullying,
or refusing to participate will be addressed right away to keep the program safe and positive for everyone.
If a child’s behavior doesn’t improve despite our support, IAC may suspend or end their participation. Refunds will not be issued in these cases. We’ll always work with families first to find a solution that helps the child succeed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds

• Cancel before the first session: full refund (minus processing fees of 5%).
• Cancel after the first or second session, before the third: partial refund based on sessions remaining.
• Cancel after the third session: no refund.
• Families joining after the program has started follow this same schedule for their first three sessions.
• Processing fees are never refundable.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Registration
IAC may refuse, revoke, or cancel any registration at its discretion, for reasons including safety, security, policy violations, or inappropriate conduct. If IAC cancels a registration, the attendee is refunded in full.

How to Request a Refund
Contact your local IAC team or email info@israeliamerican.org. Refunds go to the original payment method and typically take 7-14 business days.

Change of Location or Time
IAC may change a program’s time or location due to security concerns, program needs, emergencies, or other valid reasons. For a permanent change, we’ll notify you by email and give you five business days to cancel and request a partial refund for remaining sessions. One-time changes may happen with short notice and are not refundable.

Program Cancellation
If IAC cancels the program, you’ll be notified by email and receive a full or prorated refund (depends on the time of cancellation).
When possible, we’ll also offer a spot in a similar program nearby.

Enrollment Transfers
Enrollments are non-transferable. Each family must register their own child.

Attendance
Missing a session doesn’t qualify for a refund. Each program requires significant investment in venues, materials, and staffing regardless
of attendance.

Exceptions
Refund requests outside this policy may be reviewed case by case. Contact your Regional Director or email info@israeliamerican.org; additional documentation may be required.

Processing Fees
Processing fees may apply to refunds and are the participant’s responsibility.

Payment Disputes
For any payment-related dispute, contact us at the email above or reach out to your local IAC team.
By enrolling, you confirm you’ve read, understood, and agree to this refund policy.

Family Hikes
I understand that participating in an IAC family hike is voluntary and at my own risk. Hiking involves inherent risks, including falls, wildlife encounters, weather, and other hazards.

I release IAC, its employees, officers, directors, volunteers, and affiliates from liability for injury, property damage, or loss arising from
my or my family’s participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

I understand parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the hike, that IAC does not provide medical assistance, and that I’m responsible for any medical costs related to participation.

I agree to hold IAC harmless from any claims arising from my or my family’s participation.
