Taking a stand on campus starts with you. On the “Become Active” page, we provide you with examples of tools and platforms that you can duplicate to amplify your voice, as well as the voice of your local community, and make an impactful change. Whether it’s signing a petition, participating in social media campaigns, or joining advocacy programs, your actions contribute to a positive change for Jewish and Israeli communities in academia.
- Social Media Advocacy: Engage with important topics and support causes through social media. Join the conversation with influential figures who are speaking out for Jewish and Israeli rights. Here’s an example.

Encountered anti-Semitism on campus? Describe your incident here. Our team, in partnership with ADL and Brandeis, will offer support and guidance. Whether you’re directly involved or a witness, your voice matters
Please report only first hand experience and try to include evidence (photos, videos, etc).
While you wait for our response, please consider these first steps:
- Connect together with Jews, Israelis and non-Jews who share your experience and concerns. We have greater power, and less fear, in groups.
- Connect with local organizations if available – Chabad, Hillel, Students Stand for Israel (SSI), Mishelanu, etc.
- Report the incident to the school administration. If the incident was violent, or incitement to violence, report to the local police, as well as the local district attorney
- If it was a violent hate crime, report to the FBI immediately, at 800-CALL-FBI.
In many cases, law enforcement can step in and handle the issue rapidly and correctly.
When law enforcement, or school administration, fails to handle the issue, there are escalation paths and legal avenues.
