KEHSET Program Waiver and Code of Conduct Agreement
General Waiver
By enrolling my child in the KEHSET program, I confirm the following:
- I give permission for my child to participate in all KEHSET activities, whether held on-site, virtually, or at designated off-site locations.
- I understand that KEHSET staff will make every reasonable effort to ensure a safe environment. However, I acknowledge that certain risks are inherent in group programs involving children and therefore release KEHSET, its staff, volunteers, and partner organizations from liability for any incidents or injuries that may occur during program hours.
- I authorize KEHSET to use photographs or video recordings of my child taken during program activities for internal use and promotional purposes. I understand this consent is a condition of enrollment.
Code of Conduct and Behavior Expectations
KEHSET is a community built on kindness, curiosity, and mutual respect. To help create a safe and welcoming environment for all, we ask each participant:
- Listen to and follow the guidance of KEHSET staff and instructors.
- Shows respect toward peers, staff, and program materials.
- Engages in activities with a positive and cooperative attitude.
- Maintains personal space—keeping hands and feet to themselves.
- Always use respectful and appropriate language.
Thank you for supporting a community where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive together.
Behavior Policy and Disciplinary Actions
We understand that young children are still developing emotional and behavioral skills. However, consistent disruptive or unsafe behaviors such as aggression, bullying, or refusal to participate—will be addressed promptly to ensure a positive experience for all. Our goal is to support each child while maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
If behavior issues continue despite our efforts to support and redirect, KEHSET reserves the right to suspend or end a child’s participation in the program. In these cases, refunds will not be issued. We’re committed to doing our best to work with families to find solutions that support every child’s success.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refund Policy
If a cancellation request is made before the first session, a full refund will be issued (excluding any processing fees).
If the request is made after attending the first or second session but before the third, a partial refund will be provided based on the number of remaining sessions. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the third session. For participants who join the program after it has begun, this policy will apply to their first, second, and third sessions respectively.
Please note: Processing fees are non-refundable in all cases
Cancellation Process
How to Request a Refund:
To initiate a cancellation and request a refund, please contact your local IAC Regional Director via email, or email us directly at keshet@israeliamerican.org. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment and may take 5–7 business days to appear in your account. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Change of Location and Time
IAC reserves the right to modify the time or location of a program due to unforeseen circumstances such as security concerns, program needs, emergencies, or other valid reasons. If a permanent change is made, participants will be notified via email and given five (5) business days to cancel their registration and request a partial refund for the remaining sessions. One-time changes to time or location may also occur as needed. In such cases, refunds will not be provided.
Program Cancellation
In the event that IAC cancels the program, participants will be notified via email, and full refunds will be issued. If possible, IAC will also offer participants the option to join a similar program at a nearby location
Transfer of Enrollment
Program enrollments are non-transferable. Each family must register their child individually.
Attendance Policy
Failure to attend the program does not qualify participants for a refund. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may prevent attendance, it’s important to note that significant financial resources are invested in preparing and delivering each program. These funds cover venue bookings, materials, staffing, and other essential components necessary to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants
Exceptions
Refund requests that do not meet standard eligibility may be reviewed under exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. To submit a request, please contact your local IAC Regional Director or email keshet@israeliamerican.org. Additional documentation may be required
Processing Fees
Processing fees may apply to refund requests. Participants are responsible for these fees, which are determined on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Dispute Resolution
As we are committed to addressing concerns regarding payments efficiently and effectively, participants are encouraged to contact us via the emails listed above, or to reach out to our Regional Director for any payment-related disputes.
Acknowledgment of Terms
By enrolling in IAC programs, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of our refund policy. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding
