YOM HASHOAH VE HAGVURA – IAC GUIDE FOR COMMEMORATION COMMUNITY EVENTS

The 6 Million Steps campaign, led by the IAC, is taking place for the sixth year.
From April 12 to April 20, 2026, we call on our communities across the United States to come together, learn, walk,
remember, and remind the world: Never Again!

IAC regions throughout the U.S. will hold rallies, marches, ceremonies, and educational programs. The Israeli and Jewish community, along with all partners in the fight against antisemitism and in standing with Israel, are invited to take an active role. This booklet serves as a community resource offering information, ideas, educational content, and links to additional sources, with the goal of enriching and expanding opportunities for meaningful programming around Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is designed for students on campuses, teens, educators, schools, and community members who wish to organize ceremonies, gatherings, and meaningful dialogue within their communities.
