IAC Gvanim Ramon
Gvanim Ramon is a community of Israeli and Jewish-American women leaders. In its core, a yearlong program that develops their leadership skills as they become community builders. The program features an Israel experience delegation, with a special focus on creating a deeper connection with their Jewish identity, impacting their family and community.
The Israeli experience delegation is in partnership with MOMentum, which empowers women to connect to Jewish values, engage with Israel, take action, and foster unity, without uniformity.
The Program and its Goals
Our program’s goal is the development and empowerment of women-leadership.
The program’s four pivotal objectives are:
Creating women’s leadership influential roles within the community
Strengthening of the Jewish identity and the connection to Israel
Exploring the various Israeli and Jewish identities with in our community
Building a bridge between the Israeli and Jewish-American communities
Who is the Program For?
Jewish-American women, and Israeli women who reside in the US for several years and who:
Wish to become active in, and contribute to, their immediate community
Have the time and means to take part in the program’s full curriculum, including an eight-day trip to Israel
Are open-minded to different, and even opposing, opinions and world-views
What’s on the Program
The yearly program includes eight two-hour sessions, and an eight-day trip to Israel.
Three of the eight sessions will take place prior to the trip, and the remaining five following it.
