Gil Ribak

My name is Gil. I was born and raised in Israel. I served in the IDF and later worked as an analyst for the Israeli Defense Ministry. I came to the U.S. on a Fulbright Fellowship, and completed my PhD degree in History, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since then I taught at various universities and colleges across the U.S., such as Washington University in St. Louis and Oberlin College. I served as the Director of the Institute on American Jewish -Israeli Relation at the American Jewish University (Los Angeles), and now I am an Associate Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Arizona. I am a published author of a book as well as many articles on a variety of topics.
