Shalom, I’m Chen. I was born and raised in Israel, lived in Toronto for 7 years, and then moved to Jupiter, Florida almost 8 years ago with my husband, Shlomi and our 2 boys, Leo and Tom. I am a Religious School Coordinator at Temple Beth David here in Florida. I’ve been teaching for 5 years at the temple and have been a religious school/Hebrew educator for more than thirteen years, teaching students in Israel, Canada and Florida. I graduated from the Open University in Israel with a BA in Business and Economics, and I served in the IDF for five years. I am really excited to start our journey together as we dive into Hebrew language, values, and traditions.
שלום, אני חן. נולדתי וגדלתי בישראל. גרתי בטורונטו שבקנדה במשך 7 שנים ועברתי לפלורידה לפני כמעט 8 שנים עם בעלי שלומי ושני בניי ליאו וטום. מזה כ 5 שנים אני אחראית על בית-הספר לעברית ויהדות בבית הכנסת המקומי שלנו. ב 13 השנים האחרונות לימדתי ילדים עברית בקנדה, בישראל ובארה״ב. יש לי תואר ראשון במנהל עסקים וכלכלה מהאוניברסיטה הפתוחה בתל אביב. שירתתי במשרד הביטחון במשך 5 שנים. אני מתרגשת ושמחה להתחיל את המסע שלנו ביחד ולצלול לתוך השפה העברית, הערכים והמסורת תוך כדי תנועה, משחק וכיף.
