Rivka Kisling

Teacher

My name is Rivka. I grew up in the North of Israel, and I am currently living in Carmel, New York. I studied at Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem and at Lehman College CUNY in the Bronx. I have four daughters and my oldest one is in the Israeli Army. I have been teaching for the last 20 years, both in Israel and in the USA. I have experience teaching in Elementary and Middle School.
Learning any language is a tool for you to gain access to the world and its people in some way. I believe students should be actively involved in their own learning as I aim to be merely a facilitator that allows discovery and curiosity to take place to learn about the Hebrew language and Israel.
When I am not teaching, I am interested in reading, cooking and dancing. Apart from that, I am always on a quest to meet new people and learn about their language and culture.
